Re: effects of slanted pickup
I don't wanna hijack this thread, but I did ask the question on my thread on when duncan started making trembuckers, because I noticed my Nightswan's pickups are standard spaced, and for the bridge pickup, the 6th and 1st strings are "sitting" outside the poles. Although it doesn't have fresh strings right now, I do hear a drop in volume when I pluck/pick the 6th and 1st strings. I know the practically dead strings have a lot to do with it, but have you guys experienced this?
Though I'm sure with fresh strings and high gain, I probably won't notice this volume drop.
