Egnater Amps Anyone?

So I've been in the market for a smaller lunchbox head. I've been set on getting one of the newer Vox G2 Night Train amps when they became available, but now I'm interested in the Tweaker and the 30w Rebel. What do you guys think of these? I play a variety of rock and metal, but never tune lower than D standard. I have a few OD pedals if need be, but I'd rather get most if not all my dirt from my amp.

And while I'm asking, does anybody have experience with their Renegade amp? 65 watts, with tube mix between el34 and 6l6. Switchable down to 18 watts.

I have a tweaker 15 combo (In US) and tweaker head/cabinet (In China) that I use to test gear with… nice little amps.

I have a tweaker 15 and am very happy with it. Got lots of good tones out of it. I decided to try EL34s in it and it still sounds cool, but not quite as versitile

No clue. Couple small and midsize heads i tried, prolly tweakers or rebels not sure, turned me off the brand enough to never keep looking.

I had a tweaker 15 for a while. I liked it for OK rock and hard rock.
I think egnater amps like the tweaker and rebel do have a kinda "flat" sound though, and I could see why some are not inspired by it... but some people manage to get great tones out of them and they are pretty versatile, you just have to like the egnater sound and feel.
Personally I think the Class 5, Pro Jr, Blues Jr, Night Train, and Tiny Terror all have more complex sounds and classic tones available, but the tweaker does do a crazy amount of stuff in one package and has an fx loop, and you can use 6l6 or el34 to enhance the flavors.

I had the original night train 15... it was cool. a little harsh/fizzy/rough sounding and kinda bright, but the thick mode had a delicious honk and grind to it. Sweeet clean tones with lots of chime. The G2 looks interesting. Maybe you should hold out for it.
