I just signed up for the Eganter amp building seminar! This is something I have always wanted to do! Bruce stopped having the seminars a few years ago and I was bummed.......Recently he decided to have a few. I signed up for the weekend of Nov 10/11. Not only do I get to keep a pretty cool amp that I built, but the experience and knowledge as well! It's about a 4-5 hour drive north from where I live...........
Here is what one of these amps sound like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IMnZAo_kZAc

Here’s how it works. When you sign up for the class, you are also purchasing a custom amplifier kit. The finished amp (that you build) is a superb sounding, hand wired Marshall JCM “style” head. The circuits we have designed for you are highly modified and create much more gain, smoother tone (no ice pick to the forehead high end) and more punch than any stock JCM you’ve ever heard. If you are familiar with our Egnater amps, the sound is sort of a cross between channel 3 of our older TOL100 amps and the B channel of our current SL module. We’ve also added a series effects loop and a Density control for even more versatility. Each “student” has his/her own work station for the two days. We walk you through the process of building your amp kit one step at a time. You can’t fail because we are there to guide you. We take the fear out of it. You are guaranteed to walk out at the end with a great sounding amp head that you built with your own hands.
