EH lpb-1 booster nano

Does anyone have expierience with the new eh lpb nano? I need a clean boost for solos that i can place after my dist pedals. Does this pedal sound w like what i'm looking for? or do i need to spring for something a little more expensive like the mxr micro amp?

My chain:
various strats w/ humbuckers and single coils -> dunlop crybaby 535q -> mxr dynacomp -> ts-9dx -> keeley ds-1 -> mxr phase 90 -> eh electric mistress -> boss dd-5 -> fender hot rod amp

Im pretty sure it is more of a distortion sound than a clean boost sound... Not very sure, that was my impression though

I don't know about the nano, But I have a original LPB-1 from the 70' (The one you plug into your amp) It's pretty raunchy distortion.

generalguitargadgets LPB1 I dont know if this helps, but here is how you would go about building one that has true bypass and a normal power jack none of this 1/8 in crap that you need an adapter for. There arnt very many parts so prototyping for test purposes would be rather easy.

looks like i should get something else like the mxr micro amp or bbe booster. I'd really like a keeley katana but those are really expensive.
