Re: Electric Acoustic

And he knocks it out of the park again. Is this one 'meh' too? If so, best piece of 'meh' in the history of the forum.

Like the detail on the bridge pins and, as I mentioned when I visited, unexpected use of maple for the back, but it matches the neck nicely.

Re: Electric Acoustic

That is amazing. Really nice craftsmanship there. Nice touch with the grain-matched cavity cover.

How does it sound when amplified? With that style sound hole, I'd imagine it is somewhat feedback resistant?

Re: Electric Acoustic

That one is hecka cool (as expected from you).

Another example of amazing Crosley quality craftsmanship.

Absolutely LOVE that neck with your selection of accent wood stripes and how the maple looks so harmonious with the back of the guitar. Also love how the rosewood vaneer on the headstock brings out the rosewood on the sides.

Just gorgeous!!

I have only played it through a 30 watt combo I have, a Reynolds JFR, beautiful little amp, and it sounds OK, the feedback is still there, but it is less than a standard soundhole Maton I have. So it does help a little. I think you can never really get rid of the feedback problem without resorting to an outboard pre-amp, or processor.

The next one I build will have some further internal mods, and I will reduce the neck angle by 3/4 of a degree, its always a learning curve.

Thanks for the positive comments guys, really appreciate it..

Cheers
Pete

Re: Electric Acoustic

I REALLY want to hear that with

a) The right amp and
B) Someone with chops

I was so over the "It's fricking gorgeous" thing before it was even finished. But again, it is really fricking gorgeous....
