Electro-Harmonix Nano Signal Pad Attenuator Guitar Effects Pedal

Re: Electro-Harmonix Nano Signal Pad Attenuator Guitar Effects Pedal

I've commented about this pedal when you mentioned it in your Boston/Tom Scholtz (sp?) thread. I'll post again though as I'm not sure as to what intended use you have for the pedal.

If you're looking to use it into the front of a dirty amp to reduce the volume to clean the sound up, then it should work fine. There are 3 or 4 other options I'd personally consider before this particular pedal though. Just due to experience using other pedals similar to this 1.

If you have an amp with a series FX loop then in theory you could use it in the loop to control the volume and have 2 different levels to switch between.

I wouldn't use it as a volume attenuater between your amp and a speaker though as you were talking about in the other thread. I don't think that's what it was designed for, and would worry that it couldn't what an amp gives out compared to a guitars output.
