Re: Eleven Rack any good??
I have one. It is OK but mine is really noisy. I am not sure why, it may be the room or the power source although I have a furman power conditioner and I think I have eliminated possibility of ground loops, etc.
I will say that the recorded guitar sounds are pretty solid overall. Good for a modeler, in my opinion. Wide variety of classic amp tones and FX. It kind of sucks for bass; the best plugin I could find was a bassman. You will probably want to jack around with the presets quite a bit. Another irritating thing about it is that when recording, it puts the input gain really low by default. I like my stuff to hit hard, just shy of clipping so I always have to pad it a ton to get it where I wanted it. I think it's a good tool for guitar players who want to record demos, home studio, etc. which is what I got it for. Also, ProTools may not be everyone's cup of tea. I am used to it but it can be a PITA if you are new to it.
