EMG Retro Active 77 aktive to passive

I have problems with my EMG 77 retroactive i don´t know if the problem is with the pramps (low gain , low signal output about 70% of EMG81 ) but it is easy to convert them to passive.
Now I am more satisfied when they are passive than when they were active ;-)

Yeah, they're basically just HZ pickups with a preamp bolted in place that's easy to remove.

Would be cool if Duncan did something similar...quick-swap connectors and the option to make any pickup active with a bolt-on preamp!
