anyone have experience with this speaker? how does it compare to a V30? i'm thinking of putting it in a 1 X12 closed back cab. thanks.

I am looking into the same thing. I guess its like the v30 but not as harsh? I am also thinking about the v12 Eminence as it has less highs and more bass than the v30 or governor

Yes, do it. It is a very good speaker. Plus, it's pretty cheap so if you don't like it, change it out. I think you'll like it. It is like a V30 without the "spike". But please give it a break in first. It is a little stiff out of the box, but most speakers are.
