Anyone own an Eminence Lil Texas? Need an efficient speaker for a 2x12 and a SE Valco based amp. It will pair with an Avatar alnico. I have a couple vintage Rola alnicos but they are sonically similar to the Avatar only way less efficient. Looking for an efficient "American voiced" speaker. The Avatar has some nice top end sparkle but it's warm overall. I also have a Weber signature alnico. It's bright and I like the clean tone but it breaks up too early and compresses too easy/quick. I've never found a home for it because I cant stand it's overdriven tone.
At any rate, not much to be found on the Lil Texas but Eminence description fits the bill and the few clips I've found make it seem like it's worth a look. Anyone with experience?
