How do they sound? I know there are Splawn users.... do they compare to the V30s, Greens, or G12H30s?

Feel free to tell us about ANY models you are familiar with.

us? haha

anyhoo, the general consensus is that the eminences are better. Everyone i've talked to who uses them & used to use celestions thinks that the eminences are much better. And, hell, can't complain about the extra wattage handling. Having a 75 watt g12h30 is pretty nice

plus they're made in the USA, so you support domestic workers, get a better quality product, AND pay less

man, i should be a rep for eminence

I prefer the V30... it's just the tried and true metal speaker. I've never heard an Eminence mic up well, either.

I don't think the Eminence is better. I prefer Celestions, but all of mine are older ones made in the UK.

The Eminence Patriot and Redcoat speakers are excellant though and I do like that the Eminence is made in the USA instead of China.

I have the Legend 121 eminence speaker on my 1x12 and it sounds great, very open sounding and can handle up to 150 watts so it has alot of headroom.
