Eminence SWAMP THANG vs BLACK POWDER

Wondering what speaker is better witha dual rectifier and Mesa Cab with either v30s mixed or V12, Governor.
I have complaints of high end razor like frequencies. Some of this comes from the amp but the speakers I have just compound the problem. I will not be buying another amp but need speakers to counteract this problem. I have 2 G12k100 speakers mixed with 2 V30 speakers currently. I know the V30s are harsh so I will probably be replacing them with the V12 or governor. I was also interested in the Swamp thang or Black powder to replace the g12k100 speakers.

Anyone familiar with these speakers? Good for 7 strings tuned to A?

I've not used any of those except the V30's, but I was told by dave at avatar, and some guys on the univalve.net forum that the Eminence V12 sounds very good, and is a lot more like the Celestion G12H30 than the Vintage 30. In other words it is a good choice to counteract bright guitars or amps. It's supposed to have smooth highs and really good lows.
