A couple of weeks ago I asked y'all what speakers I should install in my brother's '68 Pro Reverb and this is the response I got:

THANKYOU SCOTT_F!!!!!!!:yourock:

These things sound great. Fantastic, big bottom end that really takes advantage of the 2x12 format. My Bro is very pleased with the change. I didn't buy one of these when I replaced my DRRI speaker, instead I went with the G12H30 which I am very happy with, but I realize now that if I had got the Texas Heats I would have been just as pleased!
Thanks again for the great input fellas!:13:

Like I said, you thanked me later. Bwahaha! (someone actually listens!)

:)

That being said, I just ordered a Cannabis Rex for my new blackface reverb project. I'll let you know how they compare.

Wow, this is the first time I ever saw a 'thank me later' actually work!

Usually, the person DOESN'T take the good advise, and instead does what he wants, then comes back and asks us all why he's having problems.

Re: Eminence TEXAS HEATS installed!`

i have all three of those! the g12h, rex, and the heat.
all great speakers with different tonalitys and good bottom end

Right on man, i got 2 in my Twin. great sounding speaker. Fairly neutral sound, with big round bottom end, even mids, and glassy/chimey high end.
