In the Netherlands, you'll rarely see anybody over the age of 17 with an engl, unless they've refused to give up on the very, very metal thing and still droptune their 7-string. It's not much different elsewhere in Europe. When they mature in taste and technique, they're up for grabs on the used market for the next batch of adolescent metalheads.

Yeah seriously Marin what have you been thinking this whole time...you need to get your act together, buy a seven string Ibanez, put three live-wire metal pickups in it and chug chug chug!!!

I think if anything is a testament to the toneful versatility of an ENGL, it's Mr. Marin's tunes :smokin:

Agreed.

But with the exception of one very misguided post, this thread was never about Engl´s tones and versatility, but build quality ;)
