what we have here is a "2nd" (see pictures) Epiphone '58 Korina Explorer in black
everything has been upgraded
Wilkinson tuners
Gotoh bridge and tailpiece
JB/Jazz pickups (gold covers included)
Bournes pots
and what i was told were Switch Craft switch and jack
there are also gold strap locks included (i don't know the brand. they are pictured)
Epiphone-branded hard shell case included
the neck is as perfectly straight, with perfectly level frets
no buzzing anywhere when tuned to Eb with the current string gauge (of which particular gauge, i am ignorant)
there are the usual paint chips and other blemishes, of which i have documented the larger examples in photographs below
there is also a seam at the neck heel which i have also photographed. the neck is ROCK SOLID
the front strap button has been relocated to the neck heel, which is a common modification to correct balance.
$300 + shipping
the box will weigh around 27lbs
