I'm gonna just wait on the new neck for my start, it's not a must have, so I thought hey I don't have an acoustic and the epi ones look pretty dang good! So to all of you who have one or have play'd one let me know how it was for you? I'm goin to go to guitar center tomorrow to look and play as many as I can my price range is about 200$ so it will have to be a low buget one.

Re: Epiphone acoustic guitars any good?

I've played a couple and they are decent for the price. I recommend getting a used one somewhere else though.

I got a $800 scratch-n-dent Wahburn for $400. It doesn't have any problems other than the binding has a very small crack in it. Seriously, I can barely see it.

A $200 acoustic is going to be "meh" at best. Save a few more and get something in the $375 - $500 range.

I CAN NOT emphasize this enough. Nothing will make you want to pull an "El Kabong!" faster than most/all acoustics in that price range.
