Epiphone ?

Re: Epiphone ?

I've said it a million times before brand really doesn't matter. QC varies so much from guitar to guitar these days you just need to try everything out before you buy it and plan a budget to have your guitar setup/potentially mod'd/tweaked by a reputable guitar luthier.

Every instrument I buy gets a full setup, a new bone nut (cut to my preferences/string gauge/tuning), and there is always the possibility of hardware changes (ie better bridges, tuning machines, etc) a pickup swap (my last two guitars got sets of Fralins installed).

Even high end instruments still need the same attention as less expensive ones. I have yet to play any guitar that I didn't find something I would adjust/replace on.

Anyway congrats on the NGD, I'm sure it will serve you well for many a year.

CONGRATS!

I have a Epi Les Paul standard with C5b and '59n. Still one of my best sounding guitars and I own Plenty of Gibson LP's...

Great comment. Setup is CRUCIAL, and many hanging in the shop are not.

A well tuned/setup chepo can burn a Custom LP out of wack

Re: Epiphone ?

I actually like the white LP look a lot, still like the PRS SE on that other thread more though :9:
