i would prefer the nes over the ****ty guitar to be honest.

Furthermore, unless that neck on the second one was refretting, there will be terrible intonation issues. That bridge is way too close.

I was gonna say the same thing but i thought maybe the neck was one of those kids style scales.

It just said that it was taken off a 1985 Hondo, so i just assumed it was a full size neck. 3/4 guitars generally have 20 frets, the few exceptions I've found being ESP's.
