Started the break in tonight!

335's are SO much fun...they sound good, they feel great on a strap and the Bigsby just adds so much to the sound if you use it "right".

I love this guitar and it might very well become my number one very soon!

I love the colour...I just say a 66 Melody Maker...SG body, 3 pickups and a Maestro trem in the same colour...I wanted it BAD!!!

Very nice and I Like the overall vibe of your 335....I couldn't afford a real one and so stuck with a cheap copy of a 335 via an Ibby Artcore AS73... ;o) Darn lefty stuff is hard to find also!

Well, the SG MM isn't for sale but it would be cool do have something else in that colour!

I would have never spend the big $$$ a mint condition, 60's ES-335 would have cost but buying one that needed so much work was a lot easier...only thing about that is then you have to pay for the work too!

I Looked through some of the postings Christian,didn't see any mention of the pickups? Stock Gibsons or did you go Duncans?

Well, besides headstock issues it was a stock guitar when I bought it...after listening to it before the repairs I heard no need to change the pickups at all.

They are Pat # pickups and since I have now had the covers off I can say for sure they are not T-Tops...just mid/late 60's Pat 3 pickups.

They are, like typical Gibson pickups of the time...hotter in the neck than the bridge but with some tweaking I've got good pickup to pickup balance and I dig the tone.

I did the old tape trick to them and that cut out most of the bad feedback w/o having to pot them so I'm happy.
