I just replaced the saddles on my Kramer 450G. I had an old Tele bridge I forgot I had and switched out the tired rusty old saddles. These are really close to the original 450G saddles. I adjusted the hieghts (something I was never able to do before) and intonation (ha! after 27 years and with no truss rod the intonation is spot on. Hardly any adjustment needed. Gotta love aluminum necks.) and everthing was grand. I picked up the guitar today and a bunch of the saddle height adjustment screws moved. This is something I have never encountered before. Some of the height screws stick up a good 1/8", I am going to grind them down. I figure it's probably my hand moving them when I palm mute, I just figured there would be more than enough tension on the saddles from the strings. I may not have noticed it because the aluminum expands with hand warmth and I have to retune a couple of times until the neck warms up. Anyone had trouble with Tele or Strat saddles moving on their own?
