Everything Axe -- Bridge JBJr height not adjustable

Seems that the treble side screw on the bridge pickup isn't changing the pickup height. The only place I saw any slight binding during the install was due to the large wire coming off the back of the bridge pickup. I filed the bridge pickup routing a bit on the back side to let it slide in. The other screws make adjustments. Right now the flat underside of the screw head is about 3/16 above the pickguard with maybe 1 mm string to magnet clearance on the High E.

The big red arrow in the photo shows where the treble side of the bridge pickup is located, looking at the bottom of the pickguard. Those black cables seem to be wire tied in a way that could prevent pickup height adjustment there. The pickups sound great so maybe nothing needs to be done, but you should be able to adjust the height.

The more I look at this the more I think it's the black wire tie head underneath the bridge pickup --- two red arrows pointing down in the picture. Looks like if I remove the one under the pickup it will allow it to drop further down in the route. I may take it to my Luthier for this so he can make sure the pocket doesn't need routing and possibly put some pieces of toothpick in the screw holes so I don't strip things out.

You've already got it apart. From my perspective you can figure those things out from yourself easily.

Cut the cable holders and see if that gives youbthe play you need.

If that doesn't work measure the depth of the route and measure the amount of pickup that is coming down under the pickguard.

Cut the ties and move one wire above the pickup and put the other below it.

I have the everything AXE set in my strat, you can make it fit.
