Nice. I like the little lunchbox style mini's. Just started seeing the Peavey 6505 Mini on ebay too. Finally got to some dealers. This one looks pretty cool.
I currently have a VK II micro and an AMT stonehead 50 Watt which is even smaller than the VK II micro. All of ten pounds for the stonehead, but 4 awesome channels.

Im glad they included an attenuator switch because 15 watts (tube) is still insanely loud

I wonder if its the same circuit as channels 2 and 3 as the original 5150iii? or if they just made them similar in voice to the originals??

its still fairly expensive for a lunchbox style head, compared to other heads of the same style

I paid less for my DSL 100 half stack. That is pricey for something I will only use in the bedroom.

Yeah, if they actually cop "the sound" I will be too!! Ive been real tempted to get one of the fiddy watters, but I cant justify buying another amp that I'll still sound bad thru..

Sounds interesting, but I'd rather find a used 5150III 50W version.
I'm glad to see that almost every amp company is coming out with mini's though.

I don't hardly ever play 100% sparkly cleans, so I'm sure rolling off the volume on my guitar on channel 2 will get me clean enough

I can't wait for it and will be one of the first to have one once I can find a pre-order somewhere. I love my 5150 III 50 watt but the head is still very heavy for a "mini" amp and hard to lug around. I love the size and portability of my Tiny Terror but I really need more gain to have fun, and EVH is the only way I can get higher gain for soloing with the least amount of noise. It won't replace my 50 watt but it's be nice to have something a bit more portable. The 50 watt is a tank.
I was about to get the Peavey 6505 Lunchbox but the specs on this are better- 5 pre amp tubes vs 3 on the Peavey.
