EVH flange sound with a ..........

Can any of you guys tell me how to set a Boss fllanger to get the sound of Unchained in the begining? I can't seem to get that swoosh sound out of this boss.

Also , the solo to On Fire, is that flange or Phase?

I never was able to get the VH flanger sound until I got an MXR flanger...the thing is, with an MXR flanger...that's all it really does!!! These is something about the sweep and the regineration circut that makes the MXR have that sound.
