Don't get too excited about how the pickup cleaned up, there was some channel switching going on there

yeah course I know that, but the clean sound was so warm! I couldve sworn it was a neck pickup...


when he went to dry was just awesome...

It was all cool and great and stuff........................but..................................................................................I cant wait till his next endeavor to say the same EXACT things.

That is he will say, " now these guy, finally got it right!"

Just remember all the other indroductions he has done to all his other products.

Wow. As someone else said, it sounds like it's somewhere between a Soldano and a jumped Plexi, which is a good thing IMO.

Like he said at the beginning of the 4th clip, he's no public speaker, which is why he experesses himself through the guitar.

There's a big difference between having to say 3 words between songs and having to face media and dealers at NAMM. eddie's a great talent. I love what that guy has meant to rock and roll. He's alright in my book. He was nervous and sure, maybe had a few blasts before going up. I just dont' care. He's got more talent that God and I love watching him play.

I agree......why the heck does everyone want Ed to be some spokesman or role model citizen or something???
He is a whacked out Dutch dude that did more for guitar than almost anyone. He is a highly talented person which is almost sure to be eccentric. Yeah i dont dig the money part so much as well, but whatever , it dont really bug me anyway. no one is forcing me to buy anything.

That being told i think this was the coolest axe he ever played. And the best sounding one as well. IMHO as always!
im telling ya this is gonna be the next one he copies!:banana:

The 5150 is so hot, look what EBMM did to it, all eds playing and the LOGO are GONE...



And yeah, theres a reason Ed isnt a politician, jesus, he can play guitar like a mofo, why bother speak,

that would be cool as the 5150 was used a hell of a lot and he wore it out in 6-7 short years!!!! that's a lot of playing! Frankie i guess lasted 10 years but it had many different necks and stuff..

But i can't see Fender or EVH brand doing a copy of this one as i'm sure the Gibson owned Kramer Music Yo company would have a thing or two to say about that!

oh i agree.. i'm just happy ED is trying to work again.. i hate it when my favourite musicians just fade away... I'm just glad he will be playing again in public soon

On a side question:

What was the best EVH guitar made anyway (excluding frankenstrat of course)?

The EBMM, the Peavey Wolfgang, the Kramers, or the new Charvels?

I played the Charvel and I really, really liked the way it played. I only played the EBMM once when it first came out and don't remember much. Never touched a Kramer or Peavey axe before.

They came out with a Charvel Basswood Halen Axe that was supposedly 100% Halen and not to far after they come out with this????
