Evil Strat Ideas

[Empty Pockets]

Well my S/S/S Strat has just felt too...stock lately, so I think I'm gonna throw in some new pups to change that

I want this guitar to be good for heavy stuff and softer stuff, so I'm thinkin Li'l 59n/Quarter-Pounder/Hot Railsb might do the trick, but I'm also kind of curious about using the JB Jr. in the neck or bridge.

I dunno, I have lots of ideas, i'm mostly just wondering if anybody else has ideas for this situation

I've got a squire strat with a hot rails in the bridge. It''l be getting hot stacks in the neck and middle soon, and I'm looking at rewiring the controls to give me a master volume, master tone, and using the third pot position to install an EMG-SPC control.

I was also entertaining the idea of putting some concentric pots into the places not occupied by the EMG-SPC - wired to give me a volume per pickup and a master tone. I'll see how much room I have left under the pickguard after I've put the SPC and the battery in

I'd go with HR-VR-CR or, if you want good cleans also, change HR with JBJr, not so thick but also a rock machine
