The Korean Gretsch guitars are so much better than any Epiphone or Ibanez at that price range. I own a 5420 and a 5129. They can handle anything. Listen to Billy Zoom from X, Billy Gibbons or Bo Diddly. You can definitely wail on a Gretsch.
