Expressive/singing humbuckers for Charvel San Dimas Tele?

I've a USA Charvel San Dimas Style 2, the telecaster model. It has an alder body and 1 piece quartersawn maple neck. It has a JB in the bridge and 59 in the neck. The guitar is the best playing guitar I've own and want to keep it as my main studio guitar for soloing. It's effortless. However, it sounds really compressed with the quartersawn maple (makes resonance very fast and sharp) and the JB. The 59 doesn't bother me much.

I'm looking for a pair of humbuckers that will make the guitar sing. Not looking for something super hot. Not a shredder but a more expressive one. Like I said I'm just using it for soloing in the studio, so don't need it for big riffs/down tuning, etc. It doesn't matter if the Charvel becomes something totally different from what what they are famous for ;)

What do you suggest? All the best guys!

I would try a custom custom in the bridge and a pearly gates in the neck if you want it to sing.

I would go right to a PAF strength pickup, in the bridge to reduce the compression and bring on the picking dynamics. In the studio you can set the amp anyway you need it as far as gain. An Alnico 2 magnet PAF clone, such as the Seth Lovers might be what you need to tame the highs, but the Whole Lotta Humbucker is know for its dynamics still using a rough cast A5.

A Whole Lotta set would be awesome.

Another great option would be a Screamin Demon in the bridge and a Pearly in the neck (I usually recommend the Demon in the neck, but the variety of having the Pearly Gates in the neck would work very well here.

Dimarzio Fred in the bridge maybe? Lotsa harmonics with that one, not too high output..

Perpetual Burn maybe? Would be the highest output you'd probably want to consider. Otherwise, the PAF options like others have discussed.

PATB-3 in the bridge and PATB-1 in the neck.

pearly gates set, perpetual burn with a seth in the neck or maybe the whole lotta humbucker

Since you already like the 59 in the neck I would focus on finding a bridge replacement and go from there. I like the Alnico II Pro bridge, the Screamin' Demon, PG bridge or a WLH bridge as ideas to toss around considering what you are looking for.

Demon/59, Demon/Jazz, or 59 Custom hybrid/59 would be my recommendations.
