I'm selling my 89' Clapton Strat in an effort to find a nice 1X12 tube combo amp. The guitar is a second year model, pewter in color although its darkened up over the last 15 or so years, the guitar is in very good conditions overall, only a few minor dings and scratches. Some corrosion on the bridge saddles but the intonation and height adjustment set screws are not bound up. The trem is blocked (they come that way on a clapton model), the neck is in great shape, frets have quite a bit left on them. The original lace sensor pickups have been replaced (including the mid boost electronics) with a set of John Suhr V60 single coils - they sound awesome, I still have the original pups and wiring harness which I will ship with the guitar. I'm asking $900 for the guitar and case & whammy bar. They sell for around $750 used, I've put an extra $250.00 into it for the pup set and electronics. I'm willing to trade and take/give cash based on the value of the amp. I don't need anything with a ton of gain or a bunch of channels. I will ship to the 48 states - if necessary that can be discussed, if PM'd I can give you my ebay account to check out - nothing but positive responses. Here are some pics:
