F Spaced or Regular for placing in a slanted bridge position with a floyd rose?

Hi. I have a kramer on the way with duncan desinged pups. The bridge is slanted and research indicates that these particular pups are not pleasant. So for a slanted spot do I use a f space or a regular?

Thanks

I believe the whole reason as to why they were slanted to begin with is so that regular spaced buckers could cover the strings evenly. So to answer your question, I would say get a regular spaced humbucker.

regular spaced for any slanted bridge pup. the reason they use a slant is because when eddie first used a bucker in a strat they did not have f-spaced pups on the market so he slanted it to line up the poles the best he could

No, a Regular Spaced works just fine...that was the whole purpose of the slant. See below...

Or because it's easier to chip out the bit of wood required given the standard bridge single coil routing on a Strat.

It definitely creates a different sound, with the slug over the high E and screw over the low E and the fact that the other strings are between the poles, not over them. That might be a good way to reduce string-pull, hence the increase in sustain and other tonal elements. It's fair to say, a Trembucker with everything lined up right, will have a different presence and tonal balance than the exact same wind/magnet slanted.

An "F-spaced" DiMarzio however, still doesn't perfectly align with a Floyd, so you can slant one of those too. I've considered using my Super Distortion with an A2 mag on a "bumblebee" replica and slanting it slightly.

Just for aesthetics, I always did F spaced or Trembucker. I like things the way I like things.

Thanks guys! Regular spaced it is! I just thought they slanted it to look like a strat
