p.s::my 59 has the "seymour duncan" and "made in america" written on the backplate..tq

Looks good to me. The '59 can be ordered with short or long legs, cover or no cover, braided 2-conductor or 4-conductor, logo or no logo.
There's lots of options.

Re: fake or genuine sh1 neck

I have the exact same metal covers with small logo on the pickups that came on a special edition Hamer XT Sunburst. My SH-1 '59 came with long elevator screw lugs and single con + braided shield cable. My TB-4 JB Trembucker came with short elevator screw lugs and four con + drain shield cable.

My '59 now features one of Kojak's roughcast A4 bar magnets. It sounds very much more to my liking. :approve:

Who did you order it from? You can get 4-con '59s.

Re: fake or genuine sh1 neck

Sharper photographs WITHOUT the plastic bags around the pickups, please.

Re: fake or genuine sh1 neck

The pickups do in fact look legit, and even with the fuzzy pics the stickers appear to be correct as far as layout goes...

A clear photo of the stickers (or transcript of the data) wiill either nail the coffin closed of open a huge can of worms ;)

That has gotta come from the Cort factory in Indonesia, surplus pickups sold (possibly illegitimately) by the factory workers (as opposed to ordered from Seymour Duncan company). They are genuine. All of my 59 have 4 conductors.
