Re: Family pics (it's been a long time!). Lots of big pics, sorry.
For some weird reason though, it's really hard to hold the guitar on your leg when it's backwards, and it's also harder for her to strum. She can hold it fine normally, and strum fine. But she can't fret it well with her left hand. She can fret with her right hand fine, but it doesn't sit on her leg right and she can't strum well.
Weird. I think for her 22nd birthday, I'll get her a cheap-o lefty Strat.
Dean's Left handed guitar section on their messageboard. While mostly male dominated you folks might find some good info. Micheal Angelo Batio has been at each of the 4 Dean Open House events I have attended and each time kinda recharges my batteries about playing. So much so in 2005 that I bought a Lefty Dean Z...
I lasted a month with it. A lefty friend came over, played it, and basically told me he was leaving with it and how much cash was he leaving with me. :approve:
I learned an open D chord and open A. I was also attempting the major/minor blues scale thing at the 3rd and 5th fret area. :14: Overall though he did not have to ask twice I was ready to let Louie go. :23:
BTW, Korean import model $475 new at that time not much more now.

You know, Explorers are some of her favorite designs. We'll be in one house soon enough (3 years or so), and I definite;y want guitars on the wall that I can be proud of. Not a bad idea! Thank you. :beerchug:
