Family pics (it's been a long time!). Lots of big pics, sorry.

Alright guys, I've got to be up for work in 4 1/2 hours, but I just took and uploaded a bunch of pics, which I've meant to do for a long time. My Green Buddy just met my Tele and Strat last month, and they've been hitting it off very nicely. I gotta say, I'm pretty happy to have my friends all in the same place. The quality isn't great, because it's night time. No light = not great pics. But they get the idea across. Also, I've added descriptions because even though I've promoted these guitars tirelessly (ad nauseam I'm sure) before, the new dudes to the forum haven't ever seen them. Lastly, not included are my amps (1963 Gibson Falcon and 1965 Minuteman) but when I get them out of the shop I'll get some pics. Anyways, I gotta go to bed so here they are:

Yeah my feet are there and my room is dirty. But here's the hard case I bought for the Green Machine. I really liked the pink, and it's an absolute perfect fit. For those who don't know what this is, or the history, search for "Green Buddy." More threads than you wanted to find, I promise:

Here she is! TV Jones not included, give me three weeks on that...

Here's all four from left to right:
Fender MIA Designer Series Tele, somewhat rare (1 of only 250 ever made); my Green Buddy (1962 Liberty MT-280 - my project guitar); my 1996 Gibson Gem Studio (P90s not included, :banghead:); and my first guitar, a 2000 Lace Huntington.

Tele Headstock - bad pic quality but with the flash, the logo would NOT show up:

Liberty Headstock, not the best pic either:

Gibson Headstock - not clean at all, lame pic:

Strat Headstock - another lame pic, too dark:

The Tele - very hard to get the sparkle to show up in photographs, I don't know why. It's stunning in person though:

Gibson - notice all the problems in the finish (checking, wearing off in spots, scratches, etc)? That's cause the nitro is so thin you can scrape it with a pic. I love that. Also my favorite guitar:

The Strat - I bought it for the woodgrain, and I still love it for that reason. Not the best player, or sounder. But it's one of my favorite strats I've ever seen, and a helluva first guitar ($150 too).

Gotta love the tele and the GB.

The LP and Lace are ok, but the other two eclipse them.

Cool tele. I've had GAS for a flaked tele for several weeks now, and that picture certainly doesn't help.

Yup...lovin' that Tele!
Gimmie!

lol Lots of love for the Tele! I'm not sure I've ever really posted pics of it before.

I love the strat and the LP! Beautiful.

Love the colour of the LP!

If I ever make it big, all my guitars would be metalic blue.

clean Your Room.

It actually is clean right now. All that stuff on the floor are just cleaning agents strewn about.

Thanks a lot dude! I really like blue guitars (obviously). Those ones you posted are cool looking. If I ever made it big, all I'd have is Gretsches, LPs, my Silver Tele, and then a Tele with a Bigsby. But there'd definitely be room for blue. ;)

Re: Family pics (it's been a long time!). Lots of big pics, sorry.

Your jeans are too long, too. It's guys like you who make jean shopping impossible for bigger guys like me. j/k

What's odd is that blue has always been one of my favorite colors. My dream car is a shade of blue, half my wardrobe is a shade of blue, my bedroom suite has a bunch of blue in it, I even have two pairs of blue shoes... yet when it comes to guitars I've only ever had one blue guitar, not counting my Agave Blue Jazz Bass.

I guess that's one more hole to fill in my collection.

Dude, the Green Buddy owns. That and the LP is maybe the sweetest carved top LP I've seen.

nice collection there, Big AL!!!

Thanks a lot dude! Actually your pics you posted the other day made me decide to finally snap my own. I love your white string through strat thing. What is that?

lol Well I wasn't wearing a belt, so my jeans were falling badly. But I'm no small guy, my waist is 36 but I get 38 jeans for comfort (why they fall down instantly without a belt). And yeah, blue is my bag. All of my style is combinations of blue and white, so for instance my sheets are blue with a white comforter. Or my walls are white with blue curtains. Boring? Perhaps. Looks cool to me though.

Blue jeans, white shirt, white shoes. Etc. Blue and white boardshorts. lol I could go on!

Thanks marcus! I thought you really didn't like my LP too much. I know you're not a Gibson fan in general, so coming from you that means a lot! :D

it'd be about million times cooler with the original p90s but that thing is sweet

Re: Family pics (it's been a long time!). Lots of big pics, sorry.

Yeah I know. It still has the little screw, umm, things. You know, where the P90s screw in to. So I'm thinking about throwing P90s in some day just for the heck of it. The problem of course is that it was routed (more in the neck than bridge), so there will be a little gap around the pickup. So who knows what I'll do.

But yeah, some day I think I'll buy another one with P90s in.
