Alright guys, I've got to be up for work in 4 1/2 hours, but I just took and uploaded a bunch of pics, which I've meant to do for a long time. My Green Buddy just met my Tele and Strat last month, and they've been hitting it off very nicely. I gotta say, I'm pretty happy to have my friends all in the same place. The quality isn't great, because it's night time. No light = not great pics. But they get the idea across. Also, I've added descriptions because even though I've promoted these guitars tirelessly (ad nauseam I'm sure) before, the new dudes to the forum haven't ever seen them. Lastly, not included are my amps (1963 Gibson Falcon and 1965 Minuteman) but when I get them out of the shop I'll get some pics. Anyways, I gotta go to bed so here they are:
Yeah my feet are there and my room is dirty. But here's the hard case I bought for the Green Machine. I really liked the pink, and it's an absolute perfect fit. For those who don't know what this is, or the history, search for "Green Buddy." More threads than you wanted to find, I promise:
Here she is! TV Jones not included, give me three weeks on that...
Here's all four from left to right:
Fender MIA Designer Series Tele, somewhat rare (1 of only 250 ever made); my Green Buddy (1962 Liberty MT-280 - my project guitar); my 1996 Gibson Gem Studio (P90s not included, :banghead
; and my first guitar, a 2000 Lace Huntington.
Tele Headstock - bad pic quality but with the flash, the logo would NOT show up:
Liberty Headstock, not the best pic either:
Gibson Headstock - not clean at all, lame pic:
Strat Headstock - another lame pic, too dark:
The Tele - very hard to get the sparkle to show up in photographs, I don't know why. It's stunning in person though:
Gibson - notice all the problems in the finish (checking, wearing off in spots, scratches, etc)? That's cause the nitro is so thin you can scrape it with a pic. I love that. Also my favorite guitar:
The Strat - I bought it for the woodgrain, and I still love it for that reason. Not the best player, or sounder. But it's one of my favorite strats I've ever seen, and a helluva first guitar ($150 too).
