Speed wanking sucks. If you're able to mix slow AND fast in a cool melodic way, then you're a good guitarrist in my eyes, but endless wanking with no trace of real melody sucks.

When I see stuff like this, I have to remind myself that wisdom truly does come with age. At least I hope thats the case. Because it seems at times that's the only hope we have left! :chairfall Unforunately, for some, age only affords them more time to become more complete idiots! :chairfall

Playing that fast would kick maximum ass in a song for a VERY short amount of time but unfortunately most hyper-shredders don't seem to have that kind of discipline.

True dat! A phenomenon is something you don't see everyday! Beyond that, you get to the point were you've seen enough of it! At that point you start to appreciate real artists as opposed to sideshow freaks!
