Favorite Low Watt Tube Amp(not EL84)

Hi all-

I'm dying for a new low watt tube amp(5-20W) to use in my condo and compliment my 40W Marshall DSL401(EL84s) which I love but has too much muscle for my neighbors. I'd like something different(6L6, 6v6, EL34???) just for fun. I play blues/rock/funk...no metal yet. What do you guys like(all price ranges acceptable)???? Thanks.

Marshall Studio 15 - Which comes stock with a Vintage 30, but I've swapped mine for an 8 ohm Mojotone VB-30H (g12h30 clone). Killer vintage sounding amp with 15 watts of joy and a master volume.

Tweed Deluxe. It's the ultimate small amp. Still gets loud, but gets crunchy very fast. Just a wonderful tone for any guitar you can imagine.

What about a THD Univalve? you can use different tubes(EL34, 6550, KT66, KT77, KT88, KT90, 6L6) without re-biasing(self biasing) and also comes with a built-in power attenuator.

Fender Deluxe Reverb :)

The Deluxe Reverb is a great amp. They have 22 watts, but they're very controllable at lower volumes. Three other great choices from Fender are Champ, Princeton, and Harvard.

This has to be one of mine, or a champor supro like 1x12 thing.

I like the univalve personally like one said aboive. You can use pretty much whatever tubes you want. It sounds quite good and like said above has a built in attenuator

I didn't use the quote thingie, but I've had a vintage Deluxe, and still own a vintage Champ. The Deluxe really was awesome, but it had to go to catch up on some bills once. The Champ is also excellent.

The Victoria Tweed Deluxe is the best amp I've ever played, regardless of size.

I have a rare ADA Rocket A20R. About 12 watts, one EL-34, Class A, 1x12. Sounds like a workingman's version of a Matchless.

Only about 100 A20R's exist and about 200 A10's. ADA has a factory fire around 1996 and lost most of their products. This was a new model which only a small number of units ever made it out of the factory before the fire. They subsequently went out of business.

Another vote goes to the Fender Tweed Deluxe. If I'm not mistaken, Scott_F has a Celtic Amps clone he made and is looking to unload at an amazing price.

You still have that, Scott?

I think the Crate palomino 8 watter is a sweet little flamethrower.
