I tried a friend's red special several years ago and it was a very nice guitar with one major flaw that ruined it for me. I really don't like neck heavy guitars.

Mine isn't neck heavy, but it is a thick neck.

The closest I can come to something "out-of-the-ordinary" would be my dual lipstick-tube humbucker, Bigsby-esque Dano.

Not really a favorite, but possibly the oddest in my fleet. Eko 700, gold sparkle front and silver sparkle back.
Quasi-Bigsby trem and a truly hideous headstock. I have two Eko guitars - I named them Delta and Foxtrot.
The other is a slightly odd cheap-but-decent pseudo-Strat that actually turned out to have a nice lively neck.

I hate when they sacrifice function for style. (Referring to the tuners.) My NJ Warlock does that. PITA to change and tune the strings.
