FE - the "butnut" Tele

Re: FE - the "butnut" Tele

Whats the neck radius and neck profile.

This is giving insane gas.

Get it Theodie. That neck is something out of this world. I have the exact neck, but in the Strat version. The frets are medium however, but USACG isnt makeing any moe reverse headstock tilt necks any longer caused I asked them. Im not sure about radius, but the neck is on the slim profile side- or at least definitly not chunky. More like a V , I think. Im not good in knowing how to tell excatly. The ebony board is super dark slate black and feels smooth as a prom queens thighs, as they say. YThat neck is the real deal and will instantly turn any guiatr into a heaveyweight tone contender.

Slim or a V, that has the same effect on my gas as a Tum or a Rolaid.

If it is smaller than a 12" radius, that is like I just farted all the gas out of my butt!

Too late guys...

She's MINE!!!

BUWHAHAHAHA!

Seriously, Wattage & I have been going back & forth for a few days & I just sent him a PM to confirm the deal. He'll be getting an '86 Custom Shop Melody Maker which had been fairly neglected & refinished with black spray paint... I stripped it down & don't play it enough.

I'm stoked!

Re: FE - the "butnut" Tele

Good for you, man! It will remain one of my three favorite guitars owned by a forum brother!

Re: FE - the "butnut" Tele

27 miles from Gotham needs a beat down! LOL!!!!!

Enjoy her and be good to her!

Re: FE - the "butnut" Tele

Yeah good deal all around, I love Melody Makers and that one is pretty cool despite it's scars.

Custom Shop and Melody Maker are not 2 things you normally hear together.

Thanks for looking all and I am really glad it is going to a very cool forum bro!

Re: FE - the "butnut" Tele

Scott, since the melody maker you are getting needs a re-fin, I vote to have it refinished the same way the tele was finished in the tele's honor! That would be HAWT!

DO IT!

Re: FE - the "butnut" Tele

Well that would be pretty f'in cool but I don't know if butnut would be up for that.

Maybe I'll give it a shot?

Re: FE - the "butnut" Tele

Come on Butnut, help out a brotha!

Re: FE - the "butnut" Tele

Flakes...but maybe not flames? Lets try something different....and green....hehe

Re: FE - the "butnut" Tele

Or how about old skool VW Bali Green? I shot my Puch in that color, looks almost like my Bogner Tolex eh? I think it would work well with that plank, and Watts could lay some pins on it too....lemme know.
