I think it's an improvement!

Do you have a way to lay in a drum beat? It would help the listener and you to hear the tempo.

that was my duo-sonic into a maverick (guild amp)

then into an AKG mic then into a lexicon Lambda then into my computer onto audacity

so really its a horrible recording set up...but i'm not made out of money

I really like the 'lead' tone, but I don't much like the rhythm tone. But there's some really cool stuff around the 1:20 mark.

BTW, sorry I've been gone so darn long. I've been away from the internet more in the last 5 months than ever in my life. Kinda sucks!

yeah, the issue is that the mic is so finicky. if there isn't enough treble, then there's no presence...i might get a presence knob installed.

How about trying some hammer ons and offs rather than picking every note in your over-solo? Will make it sound much more accomplished.
