Fender Acoustasonic and Highway Series

Have any of you guys tried Fenders new "thin" acoustic electrics? I really want to like them, they are built great, look good, and play well; but I have never tried on direct into the soundboard, which I assume is what they are meant for.

What are you guys thoughts? I hear mixed opinions on them, especially seeing as they are way to quiet acoustically for traditional unplugged acoustic use.

I tried the Acoustasonic Tele and Strat. First thing I noticed is that both are very neck heavy. Haven't tried the new Highway or the Acoustasonic Jazzmaster yet.

Never plugged one into the soundboard but have played them in the music store. I also found them to be neck-heavy. I have the same issue with my acoustic B.C. Rich. It must be one of the pitfalls of building an acoustic guitar with an electric neck. I do not mind the B.C. Rich for a song or two or sitting down but if I had to play it all night standing up the neck dive would drive me crazy.
