Fender Blacktop Telecaster HH Pickup Recommendation

Hello everyone, new member here.

Looking for Humbuckers to replace the factory pup's in a 2013 Blacktop Telecaster, Alder body Rosewood board on the neck.

I will be keeping the master volume\tone control layout but will upgrade to better pots 500k with a 0.22 cap for the tone control.

I want to keep the pickups more in the vintage PAF range with good clarity and sustain.

I tried a JB many years ago and found that a bit to hot for my liking.

I would like to come close to Clapton's woman tone cream sound with the Fool SG by rolling off the tone.

I realize the scale length makes the Telegib guitar brighter then a Gibson, but it would be fun to come close to a Gibson sound if possible

Thanks

Thanks Steve, the Alnico II Pro HB set is at the top of my list. The demo sounds very nice on the SD web site.

The Alnico 2 should provide a softer sound and tone to the brighter Fender Telecaster scale length and the output range is 7.5 to 8.4, right in the range for Clapton / Cream humbucker sounds

I have the Slash version of the A2Pros in my guitar. The neck pickup is nice and articulate, I hear that the neck model alnico 2 pro isn't as cutting. This is not automatically a bad thing, just thought I'd give you some input if you're considering the alnico 2 sound.

Thanks Astro, the Slash sounds like a bit of a overwound APH1 set. Will check out some demos.
