The file thing makes great sense except it would take too long for my patience level. How does an EZ Out work and how much are they? Thanks for the great ideas though!!

That seems pretty stupid that Fender would go to that level of pain to make the thread of the screw rusty too instead of just the head!!!

They aren't very expensive, take your amp to the hardware store with you and have one of the clerks help you find the correct one. Good luck and buy some new screws while you are there so you don't have to go through the ordeal again. Fender kinda messed up on that one, didn't they?

Right on man. I just got my Blues Junior about 2 weeks ago and I'm really loving it. I ended up with the blonde version and I got a tube screamer to go in front of it. It's really the amp for me since I love the old blues tones. The difference was night and day between this and my Line 6 Spider. This is just much more responsive and has a more pure tone all around. Enjoy!

The Blues Junior is one of the great Fender all tube amps of the last 30 years.
