one of these amps and Gibson's new Tribute Series LP's and SG's are the first real GAS producing new products for me i've seen this year... i've had a little gas for other stuff but these are so cool.....

A store in my area has the RI Princeton Reverb in Tangerine tolex. Tempting but ...

I'd rather track down a Fender "evil" Twin Amp. For small venues or recording, I would run that on the low output setting.

ya they were good amps... The Evil Twin you refer to is the 80's red knob model right? i liked them because at the end of the day i'm more a higher gain player then a Fender Clean dude... but i still love me some Fender cleans with my pedalboards!

i have a soft spot for Blackfaced Deluxes and Fender Special Edition amps... so this amp is the 2 things together in one GAS producing package for me...

Now that's a great amp, I almost exclusively play jazz voiced solid state amps these days, but I have a heavy craving for a nice Fender Deluxe after seeing a few local guys using them and getting perfect tones out of them.

I haven't managed to find a deluxe for under about 1,400 around here unfortunately, and Kijiji and Ebay are a little dead for them at the moment (though I haven't checked in a month or so.. might do so now actually)
