the super 3 has a ceramic magnet while the enforcer, i believe, is alnico

Nope the enforcer is ceramic 8

you shouldnt order a guitar based on the pickups, you should test how it feels in your hand first and if its comfortable ive, played a few fenders with both the pickups your talking about and they were okay but man the neck was great, super smooth and comfortable. which ever one you get just make sure its comforatable and worthy of the price. Iv'e played some really crappy guitars that come equipped with seymour duncans and emg's and they really sucked. you could try building a warmoth guitar and it would be everything you wanted exactly and you wouldnt have to worry about what came stock

Yessss!I would never buy a Guitar for the PUs.Sustain (acoustic) ,playability and build quality is my concerns.There are allways better PUs than the stock ones!

So is the american Deluxe tele better? the one with the dh-1 humbuckers? And how close did the tele you tried sound compared to a gibson lp studio with 489t? Sorry for the redundancy, coz i'm really abt to order a guitar soon. Thanks!

I've never tried a tele with DH-1 buckers. Is there one? Can you post the link in this thread?

I don't know how to compare it to the studio with 489T. It is fat enough, if that is what you are worried about. Way fatter than any other tele I've tried. And it's only about $1400!

And the guitar I tried with Enforcer pickups has regular pole pieces and screws, not the dimarzio super distortion variety.

And sorry that was DFH-1 humbuckers. They were the 2004 american deluxe fmt and qmt telecaster hh. You can find them in a bunch of other sites was well
