Fender has a few new Hot Rod guitars...

i was looking through Fenders site and came across a new trend which i love to see...hot rod inspired guitars!!!

great inlays on these...crossed pistons...check the fender site for the HUGE pics of them...

starsky and hutch anyone hehehe..

a bit tacky with the painted neck but heck if i see one in a store i'll give it a try...

that flathead tele (minus the EMGs) and the toronado which comes with duncans are kinda tempting...

Yeah, that racing stripe looks totally starsky & hutch, but still good IMO

yeah the toronado with the starsky and hutch style stripes is pretty cool...while looking for a price on it ($629.99) i came across a pic of it in the green color...well, they call it green but it's kinda like puke green/gold...if i get one it may have to be this just for the plain fact that it's odd lol and i tend to like odd colored guitars...

this is all it says on music123's site

the fender flathead tele and flathead strat aren't new for 05 they've been out since 03 or 04 i think?

Yeah I'd totally do the flathead tele - but with c5/59 or jb/jm combos instead of the emgs.

I'd also do the toronado with the same combos.

lol wow those guitars are crazy looking. I woulnd't mine playing one but i dont think i'd buy one myself, not my cup of tea, i prefer something more traditional.
