Hi guys and gals,

I haven't posted on here in awhile I'm looking for a lil bit of help for a diagram or wiring

I need a diagram or instructions for my Fender stratocaster USA I'm trying to install
2 Humbuckers with 5way super switch (not blade switch) 1 volume 2 tone knobs nothing fancy just a simple diagram to help me solder in to the right tabs
I'm putting a Duncan custom custom TB-14 and a old Duncan neck Humbucker I'm not sure what it is but it sounds good so if any one can help me with the schematics or diagram please help oh and I have a pre wired harness so the pots and switch is soldered already from 920d custom shop
So I just need to know where topic the 4 wire HH pickups they are both 4 wire each Humbucker please help me out thanks guys!

Fender HH 5way super switch solder wiring help!!

What do you want each of the 5 positions to do? Splits? Parallel? Phase Reverse?

Also, never heard of a 5-way super that's not a blade. Can you clarify or provide a pic of the switch?

It could be a turn switch perhaps?

Okay... so it is a 5-way blade-style super switch. That will give you lots of options. Do you have any idea what settings you'd like to have for each of the 5 positions?

Re: Fender HH 5way super switch solder wiring help!!

I'm trying to send the pic it's one of those oak bridge 5 way type switches I'm just trying to make a regular 2 Humbuckers that work in diffrent portion like the origins fender way it came I dunno if that's a split or what it's called just a basic HH for a fender strat that will work every time I switch Ito guess I'll send a picwhen I get home in 29 mins thx for helping so far

Re: Fender HH 5way super switch solder wiring help!!

It's not a blade it's like a half circle with 2 rows of solder tabs I want it to be a regular 1 switch bridge Humbucker and the 5th position the neck Humbucker any thing else inbetween can be single or what ever is Easter to set up

Re: Fender HH 5way super switch solder wiring help!!

The "blade" is referring to the lever itself, but I understand what you're saying. Do you want something similar to standard Telecaster switching, where the center position is both humbuckers?

Re: Fender HH 5way super switch solder wiring help!!

So does it matter what goes to the 3rd tone pot? I have 1 vol 2 tone pots at 500 k thx for the diagram but how do I connect to the last tone pot?

Re: Fender HH 5way super switch solder wiring help!!

It's a good diagram but it's going in my strat so I'm confused on the extra tone pot I have

Re: Fender HH 5way super switch solder wiring help!!

thought id go ahead and color it after updated it.. Easier to read. This is the way I try to draw them up but as I said.. was in eating + i was a bit lazy.. easier to read with color and an explanation of what the switch or switches do IMO
