More I think of it, since I hate tremolas and never ever use one, and never use a middle pickup, maybe a Tele is MY Fender. LOL

Do any of you strat guys use the middle pickup?

Teles and Strats are quite different beasts!

I only use the middle pickup in the "in between" positions (pos.2 and 4 of the switch).

you can roll fingerboard edges yourself in less than 10 minutes. However, while i'ts great for rosewood, but if you do it to maple you will crack the lacquer.

This thread is a year-and-a-half old. The 2012 upgrades to the American Standard were not out yet.

Very good Guitars. Very good players-
They are Solid sounding performers, All said, they are delightful guitars with a new Fender tube amp, but sure theres a very big difference in quality between the Deluxes and the Highway 1's.Its most evident through a quality amp.
