Re: Fender Mustang III
i really freakin like these things
best tube emulation i've heard out of a modeler besides Vox Valvetronix (which cheats by actually using tubes :smokin

and it comes with Fuse and Ableton -- holy ****ing crap if I had that **** in high school I would've recorded a dozen albums by now.
the I and II are EXCELLENT practice amps -- the III and IV probly sound better than most dudes playing out on 100w tube heads they can't crank up.
i'm still stoked using my Marshall Class 5 for bedroom practice since i've been playing for 10 years and accumulated tons of pedals and crap to get all the tones i want...but i've been putting off buying recording equipment for years because i just knew somebody would make something better and cheaper than what's been out.
between the quality of the sounds, variety of sounds, the downloadable extras, and the free recording software...every new guitarist gets one (i refuse to ring-up a Line 6 Spider or Peavey Vypyr until going over every detail of the Mustang) and most experienced players could probably use one.
i was gona get a Line 6 M13, an interface, and some software to make it all work and get some recordings done...now I can go buy the $99 Mustang and **** it.
