Fender N3 vs Vintage Noiseless Pickups

Has anyone compared the 3rd gen noiseless to the vintage noiseless? I have the N3 set in my Strat. And while I like them I miss the old school sound. I was wondering if it would even be worth the trouble to change. thanks

i didnt really care for either set. if you want a noiseless strat set, the duncan classic stack+ is my favorite of all that ive tried. kinman and dimarzio also make some good ones but i like the duncans better

I have not tried many but I can say the Duncan STK-S6 in the neck of my 2006 MIM strat sounds way better (more straty and noiseless) than the stock pickup of a 2008 MIM Strat I have around here.

Indeed, it does. It will have slightly more power, but the quack, attack, and piano-thwack are all there.

I'm pretty happy with the neck and middle, I like have the alnico 3 and 2. But the bridge I'm not so happy with. Would the STK-S4 work with the S1 switch?

If the S1 switch is there to split, yeah, it would.
