Fender Pawn Shop Series

Re: Fender Pawn Shop Series

Seriously, this is just sexy as hell:

That blue one's my favourite, too.

And, now that I've fully prepared myself for imminent disappointment, I'mma go check to see if they're releasing a left-handed version...

EDIT: Nope!

Sweet.

This has to be a joke. You could buy a Squier '51 for $79 three months ago.

Re: Fender Pawn Shop Series

I hate them. They look stupid. More MIM stuff. Every time they come out with new MIM guitars, they raise the price of US made stuff.

Re: Fender Pawn Shop Series

These aren't from "REAL PAWN SHOPS"...

What's the point!?

I mean who want's a guitar that just says "Pawn Shop" on it?!

I want the real thing...that was brought into the store by bubba to pay the rents and lectrics!

I mean...these things never actually hung on a wall next to weed eaters and pool sticks! Never had a glass counter full of gold plated tennis bracelets and Cubic Zirconia earrings surrounding them!

They were never even actually reamed out with a 2nd hand dremel tool and loaded with half a spool of solder!

Fake...and anyone who buys one is a complete POSER!!!

I just don't get it...lazy people...get off of your couches and out of your basements and scour you own local pawn shops! Why can't you realize this is just another Fender FMIC $cam!?!?!

Dude, settle down and can the rhetoric. The name "Pawn Shop Series" is just something dreamed up by marketing people. They could have just as easily been called the "Classic Mod Series" or the "Dream Mod Series" or whatever. The guitars themselves DON'T have the name "Pawn Shop" on them.

I suppose I'm a poser because I've got a Highway One guitar and I haven't actually driven down Highway 1.

I've driven down Rt 1 in NJ so many times, Fender should send me a free one - but I would never play it out - because people would think I'm a poser even though I'm not.

Re: Fender Pawn Shop Series

you may be kidding but that's on my to do list!

Not kidding at all . . . I think that the Jazzmaster would be an awesome shredding guitar with a proper bridge on it. Let me know when you start this project!

Re: Fender Pawn Shop Series

You must have way better fingers than me. Even with a Floyd, I don't think I could shred on my JM's 7.25" radius.

But then...I can't shred.
