beaubrummels Well-known member Dec 16, 2020 #2 My Highway 1 didn't have a blue wire on the neck. Mine had some kind of "TexMex" hot models. I'll have to dig out the pickups to see the baseplates again. I don't recall seeing a Tele bridge without a copper or metal baseplate.
